A bold renovation where color leads, art rules, and every space tells a story.
The Entrance: Drama Right From the Doorstep
The renovation starts with a front door in deep navy — rich, classic, and just daring enough to hint at the magic waiting inside. But once you step into the foyer, it’s clear this isn’t going to be a typical remodel.

We wrapped the entire two-story entry in a yellow grasscloth wallpaper that acts like a sunshine-filled welcome hug. It’s bright, textured, and provides a perfect backdrop for the clients’ vibrant art collection. The effect is immediate — warmth, whimsy, and a dose of wow.
Living Room: Designed Around the Diva (a.k.a. Jaguar in the Moonlight)
This space had good bones, but it needed warmth, cohesion, and a clear focal point. Enter: Jaguar in the Moonlight, a vibrant painting that became the anchor for the entire room.

We removed outdated track lighting and replaced it with a cleaner, more flexible system mounted along the ceiling beams — perfect for highlighting the
clients’ art without distracting from it. The new sofa is covered in an ivory textured fabric with jewel-toned pillows that pull directly from the painting. A pair of green leather chairs nod to the home’s mid-century bones. We went big — really big — to give space for their large ceramics collection and the stacks of art books they’ve collected over the years.

Dining Room: Where Everything Clicked
This space didn’t need a full overhaul — just the right updates to help it join the rest of the home’s new energy. In the dining room, the rug was the main event. We explored several options — some so bold they were practically artwork themselves. Ultimately, we chose a blue and black wool rug that brings out tones in the artwork and balances the bold chair fabric.

The dining chairs got a full refresh — refinished wood and reupholstered in a black-
and-white dot fabric that adds visual pop and a bit of rebellion. This room is now the perfect bridge between the living room’s jewel tones and the quieter bedrooms beyond.

Bedroom & Sitting Room: Texture Over Trend
The goal for these connected spaces was to create a restful environment that feels layered and personal. We wrapped the bedroom walls in a faux sisal wallpaper in a soft,
tawny color — giving the space depth without adding color. Swing-arm bedside lamps with raffia-wrapped stems are sculptural and soft at the same time. We kept the piece above the bed — the size and tone were perfect — and built the room’s palette around it.

Recliners (yes, they’re stylish!) and monochromatic furnishings keep
things serene. A single swirl-patterned pillow adds a little wink of personality.

Powder Room: Small Space, Big Style
We always say: the powder room is the place to go bold — and this one delivers.

We collaborated with the architect on the main fixtures, then layered in our signature touches: an asymmetrical wall sconce, a pill-shaped mirror, and art with a wink. It’s playful, but polished.
So What’s the Takeaway?
This isn’t just a renovation — it’s a story of color, confidence, and collaboration. Every decision, from wallpaper seams to stair rail welds to pillow fabrics, was made with intention. The home feels collected, alive, and unapologetically expressive. The best design doesn’t just decorate a space — it lets it speak.
